BIOGRAPHY

Originally a guitar player since he was 12, Vincent recieved two music degrees for Percussion Performance/Music Education from William Paterson University (BM) and SUNY Stony Brook (MM).

Since releasing his first indie, self produced CD, "PERSPECTIVES" in 2005, Vincent has continued to promote his music throughout the Central Jersey area at several Starbucks locations, the New Brunswick scene, and throughout Princeton.

Primarily a solo vocal/acoustic act, Vincent experiments with several effects pedals including the Boss Loop Station with which he creates funky loops to jam, vocally harmonize, and twist the aural perceptions of the acoustic guitar.

A self proclaimed "naturalist" of the acoustic guitar, Vincent likes to explore different sounds to try and create a fusion of as many musical styles as possible. Vincent is a full time high school music teacher and a freelance musician and photographer in the Central Jersey area.

About the Music

I released my first self produced CD in 2005 called "Perspectives".  It was a project that I wanted to take on for years and finally got my chance after a few years of saving up money and experiences!  I  played all of the instruments myself which was a huge undertaking and even recorded some of the songs myself.  The setting of the CD is a full rock quintet where I play drums, bass, lead and rhythm guitar, and sing. 

My most recent release, "Only Human" was self released in 2008.  With this CD, I wanted to keep it very "live" and recorded it with very little editing.  It is a strictly acoustic album with some overdubbing but not a lot of post production tweaking.  I play acoustic guitar, percussion, beatbox, and sing.

Both CD's are a product of my experiences, happiness, frustration, love, and everything in between.
